Lay Eucharistic Ministers(LEMs)

St. Timothys' Lay Eucharistic Ministers are capable and experienced volunteers who have committed their time and efforts to the Word and the Sacraments. With authority from the Bishop and the blessings of the Rector, their roles involve service at the altar, as well as at the lectern, pulpit, and often taking Communion to those who were unable to attend church.

LEMs Serving

...what doth the Lord thy God require of thee but to fear the Lord thy god, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Deuteronomy 10:12

Ushers & Oblationers Needed!

Oblationers take the wine and bread to the altar when it is time for communion. It is customary to have two people do this, but if this sounds like something you could offer, please don't hesitate to volunteer alone.

Ushers typically work in pairs, although one person can handle this chore. They hand out the service bulletins at the beginning of the service, collect the offertory and then take it up to the altar.
