St. Timothy's has put a lot of time and energy into their children's programs. With Sunday school, the Episcopal Youth for Christ (EYC) group, Vacation Bible School and a variety of seasonal events. Children are of great importance here. Father Walt is determined to keep all of these children's ministries alive and well,... and with God's help, expanding!
Sunday school is a year long program that concentrates on teaching the Bible. We have a team of talented teachers that have dedicated themselves to spreading the Good Word to our children. We have a year of fun planned. "Come and See"...
EYC (Episcopal Youth for Christ) is back for the fall. The EYC leaders have some exciting, yet service-minded activities planned for the coming school year. The EYC meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30.
Seven Sensational Summer Socials are planned for the 2008 summer. On Friday evenings all children from 3 years to 17 are invited to enjoy an evening of fun activities, food, a Bible lesson and more. These "Socials" begin on June 6th and continue every Friday evening until July 26th. The times will be from 6 pm until 8:30 pm. Please call 318-487-0875 for information.
Seasonal Events are fun activities that occur throughout the year like Mardi Gras celebrations, the annual Easter egg hunt, a variety of summer events, and the Christmas pagent.
