Welcome to St. Timothy's Church!

We at St. Timothy's like to understand ourselves as a family. By this we mean that we love and care for one another, that we depend upon each other,
that we need one another, that each member is as precious and important as any other, and that there is always an open place at the table
for anyone to join us.

The principal act of Christian worship on the Lord's Day (Sunday) is the Holy Eucharist. This service is also known as the Holy Communion, the Divine Liturgy, and the Mass. You are cordially invited to worship with us at our 9:00 a.m. Eucharist on Sunday.

We are delighted to greet all visitors and hope you will share your time with us. Please identify yourself to Father Snow as a visitor and sign our guest book in the narthex of the church. After each Eucharist there is fellowship and refreshments in the parish hall directly behind the church building.

Christian Education

Bible study is offered on Tuesdays at 1:15 pm in Monnica's Room.

Saint Timothy's Episcopal Church was founded on January 24, 1959, as a mission church, and the church building was completed in 1961. It became a parish on February 17, 1968.

St. Timothy's Church is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Western Louisiana. Our diocese is one of 110 dioceses in the United States and fifteen other countries which make up The Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Church is one of 38 provinces of the worldwide Anglican Communion, the third largest community of Christians in the world, which has more than 70 million members in 160 countries.

Camp Hardtner Camp and Conference Center offers a serene, woodland setting for people to learn about themselves, enjoy outdoor activities, build friendships and develop new, lasting relationships with peers and God. Whether you are looking for a summer camp for your child, a pleasant weekend get-away for your family or a meeting place for your business, Camp Hardtner is the place!

Cursillo, (a Spanish word meaning little course),is a three day weekend that is designed to strengthen and renew one's faith. During a Cursillo weekend you will live and study together through singing, prayer, worship, and discussion. If you are longing to know The Lord in a special way and would like to renew and deepen your Christian commitment consider attending Cursillo. Cursillo weekends for the Diocese of Western Louisiana are held at Camp Hardtner near Pollock, LA.

A group of our members travel annually to Honduras, where they conduct a medical mission. ACTS: Honduras is a diocesan wide ministry to the impoverished mountain Hondurans. Since 1998 the team has returned annually to conduct a general medical clinic and optical clinic. Each year the team consists of 24 people and will serve over 1,000 villagers.
